John P. Marren

So sorry for your loss. He was such a fun person to be around. Raymond and I met him several times while visiting Gary and Diane. May he rest in peace

When we were young, my cousin, John Marren, was always lots of fun to be around, during our yearly visits to Chicago. He could tell a tall tale, make root beer floats, and keep his Maryland cousins otherwise entertained while our parents were visiting his parents. I did not have much contact with him over the past several decades, but I heard about his success in the law business, and as a husband and father, and I am proud to be related to him. The flu kept me from attending his funeral, but I'm sure that the mourning will be frequently interrupted by laughter, as y'all remember the many good times. God loves y'all, and so do I.

Mary, our prayers are with you, and we are so sorry to hear of John's passing. He had a bigger-than-life personality and was a gracious host when you had the OT gang to your home. May your faith and your family comfort you and your memories bring a smile. With Love, Jim and Sarah
