My first recollection of Uncle Benny was Christmas eve of 1952. I was almost 3 years old and my brother Scott was 5 years old. Benny came to spend the night with us when we lived at Henlawson. We thought it was a big deal to have a sleepover with him. The real reason he came was because his dad Robert Mays came to play the role of Santa Clause for us kiddos. Needless to say, I believed in Santa for many years after.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
