John J McCormick

John J. McCormick, age 82 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his home. Born to Joseph and Mary Butters McCormick in Chester, PA, he resided in Garnet Valley for the past five years, previously residing in the Poconos for 20 years, and Twin Oaks, PA. He worked at Scott Paper for over 40 years and retired in 1998 as a Foreman. John was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, billiards, and dart club at Foxfield. He enjoyed traveling and visited Hawaii, Germany, and Switzerland. John is remembered as being the best dad and was devoted to his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Patrick and Joseph McCormick. John is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mamie Fiorelli McCormick; three children; John (Patricia) McCormick, Jr., AnnMarie (Allen) Klenotiz, and Michael (Michelle) McCormick, six grandchildren; John (Amanda) McCormick, III, AJ (Olivia) Klenotiz, Taylor (Dustin) Shelton, Austin Klenotiz, and Michael and Morgan McCormick, and two great grandchildren; Landon and Addison Shelton. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 9:30 to 11AM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA followed by a funeral liturgy at 11AM.
