John Patrick McTague was born on Sunday, November 18, 1945 in
Pierre, South Dakota, the son of Raymond John and Geneva Louise "Sally" (Fleetwood) McTague. He passed this life at his home in Broken Arrow on Tuesday, January 2, 2023. He was 77 years of age.
John was a 1963 graduate of Broken Arrow high school. John moved to Broken Arrow with his family in 1952 from
Wichita, Kansas. He was employed with McDonald Douglas and Boeing Aircraft, the last 19 years of his career with American Airlines as an aircraft Mechanic. Around work he was the go to guy if any of the mechanics had trouble with fixing a plane. He was an avid horse racing enthusiast and was involved in training race horses and traveled around the country to watch them run. The family requests memorials to
