"Oh maaannn..." where to start.
Maybe the first horseback riding lesson, or saying goodbye in Maryland . Maybe sitting at the kitchen table when he said, " I want another Collie." Or proudly showing off his guitars, or hearing his newest songs. It could be the countless, uncomplaining trips to the hot tub with another glass of wine , or the numerous open arms, and bearhugs welcoming me, my family, and my friends into their home. The trips around the property in the carriage, or the pride in the train garden. The nights spent playing and singing along with three drunk women. The look of glee when he made the Mustang sound like he was in highschool, and the big, over the shoulder grins he bestowed driving us in it. Or the time he confided in how much he was enjoying being "Farmer John." His obvious love for Barb and the animals.
The wonderful memories are countless and treasured. We loved John very much too.
