John D. Miccoli

Oh my, I am just seeing this obituary. Johnny was 3 years my senior, and we did grow up together. My family lived just behind his parent's house, and I'd often visit with my grandmother Mal, who was his mother Marie's best friend. My grandfather, Butch, was a pal of Dick Miccoli, John's father. Johnny was one of the nicest guys on Girard Street. I remember him going away to college, and him being excited to become a Conservation Officer. He was taken much too soon.
