Life is full of the things that remind us of someone and for John that would definitely be music. John was an amazing singer and loved to share his talents. His love for his family and music has always been shown and known by all.
John has resided in Manitou, Oklahoma since 2007.
John is survived by his children: daughter, Donna O’Connor & husband William (Bill) of Frederick, OK
Son, Jonathon Milks & fiancé Lucy of Portland, OR
Siblings: Twin brother, Jack Milks of Las Vegas, NV, brothers, David Milks of Frederick OK, James Milks of Reading, MI, Michael Milks of Quincy, MI, Dale Milks of Lakewood, CA; Sisters, Rita Bliss of Gulfport, FL, Judy Kling of Coldwater, MI, Kimberly Milam of Valrico, FL.
Grandchildren: Adrianna Milks, David John Milks & fiancé Bailey, Desirae Vossen & her husband Tyler.
Great Grandchildren: Shawn Cooper, Rosaleen, Lillian Sue and Jax Dillon Milks, Thea, Kai, Ella & Ayden Vossen, and many nephews and nieces & great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: Birth Parents: Donna VanEck, Arthur Milks; Stepparents: Garry VanEck, Dorothy Milks; Siblings: Diane Royall, Jerome Milks and Keith Milks.
John has lived in Michigan, California, Texas, Minnesota and Oklahoma. He loved working with his karaoke equipment both professionally, personally and with his family. He enjoyed singing, dancing, fishing, bar-b-q/cooking and spending time with his family and friends.
Cremation is being performed and no funeral proceedings as were his wishes.
May he sing with the Angels, be at peace and a loving Guardian Angel to his children and family.
