John T. Monahan

My sincere condolences go out to the family at this devastating time of tragic loss. Mr. Monahan was always a very kind man. I knew him from church and ccd when I was a kid. He will never be forgotten. May he rest peacefully. Praying for peace for the family.

My sincere condolences go out to Mary Ellen, Belinda, Sara, his three sisters his family and friends. Our Lady of Victories has lost a great and gentle friend, and a wonderful Deacon. As an Usher and extraordinary minister of communion (not Eucharistic Minister, John was sure we got the correct the verbiage). I guess that was the lawyer in him. I would set up the Altar for the Saturday Vigil Mass. John always made sure that I did it correctly. He and Monsignor Fulton will both be remembered for singing Jingle Bells during the recessional on hot July days.
If I had question about a passage in threadings or Gospel, he was always ready to discuss it with you. John always had a smile on his face. I pray that our Lord will have a special place for John in Heaven. Rest In Peace my friend, I will miss you greatly. Ed & Kris Burdzy

To the beautiful family of John Monahan, I offer my deepest condolences. John inspired me spiritually, and I loved his quick wit. He will be missed by many.

Our prayers go out to Mary Ellen ,Belinda,Jennifer, and Sara. He officiated the wedding of our daughter and baptized her two sons. John was a true servant of the Lord and we will dearly miss him .May his soul rest in eternal peace.

I had the pleasure of working with John at the NJ Department of Community Affair; he was a smart, funny, disciplined gentleman.
