John Moniak Jr.

John Moniak, Jr., 77, of Allentown, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025 at home. He was the husband of the late Phyllis A. (Janicki) Moniak. Born in Old Forge, PA he was the son of the late John and Olga (Kenjerski) Moniak. He was a member of Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown. Before retiring in 2009, he worked as a CPA in the Financial Dept. of PPL Electric Utilities, where he worked for over 30 years. He will be remembered for his passion for finance and lending his skills by volunteering on the church financial committee and he assisted at his son's business, The Wicked Chef.
Survivors: sons John and his wife Georgiann of Allentown, Stephen of Lancaster; daughter Beverly, wife of Christopher Fell of Avondale; brother Charles and his wife AnnMarie of Emmaus; five grandchildren Nicholas, Kate and Chase Moniak, Christopher and Madelyn Fell. He was predeceased by a brother Paul.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 AM, Friday, November 14 at Cathedral Church, 1825 W Turner St, Allentown, PA 18104. Calling hour will begin at 10:00 AM at church. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
