John Elsworth Moses Sr.

MOSES, John, E. Sr. April 2, 2025 Age 88. Beloved husband of the late Merle (2009) for 51 years. Loving father of Pamela (the late Mark) Ayers, John (Jackie) Moses Jr., Robert (Franette) Moses, and Betty (the late Frank Wichtner) Moses. Proud grandfather of Jessica (Sean) Weickel, Stephanie Ayers, Jerica (Chris) Ligrow, Nicole (Mike) McDermott, John Moses, Shelby Wichtner, and great grandfather of Harper, Brayden, Henry, Austin, and Emmett. Dear brother of Helen (the late Corky) Brockway, Tom (Sandy) Moses, and Debbie Moses-Furay. Predeceased by his siblings Richard Moses and Joan (the late Larry) Urban. Survived by his sister-in-law Pat Moses. John was born in Port Huron, MI. He was the beloved son of Janet and Elsworth Moses. After graduating high school, John proudly served his country in the US Navy until 1957 when he began attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering which is where he meet and went on to marry his beloved wife Merle of over 50 years until her passing. John was a caring man that will be remembered for his big heart, generosity and love for his family, extended family and friends. Visitation Sunday 3-9pm. Funeral Monday 11am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd). Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
