John Murphy Obituary
John Fredrick Murphy, age 58, of McKeesport, PA, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025. He was born in Latrobe, PA on September 27, 1966 and was the son of the late Paul Edward and Sue Ann Flowers Murphy. He was employed as a school bus driver for many years and was a member of Word Missionary Baptist Church in McKeesport, PA. He was ordained as a minister in 1998.
John is survived by his wife, Pamela McBride Murphy; daughter, Nicole Rae (Marwan) Murphy-Abdel-Fattah; son, Jesse (Maria) Murphy; step-son, Sean McBride; grandchildren, Omar; Olivia; Reana; Nathalia; Rasha; Devin; Sami; Aadam; Mykyla; Isabelle; Wyatt; siblings, Paul Murphy; Butch (Teri) Murphy; Barbara Merdith; Jill (Jim Dudiak) Murphy; Tara Murphy; Laurie (Bob) Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor John’s memory at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until until the time of the services at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Tamela Walker and Deacon Lori Brown officiating.
