John was an avid sports fan, following the Detroit Tigers and Lions. He also loved to play golf, participating in several leagues after his retirement. He especially cherished his golf Up North outings with his sons and son-in-law. He loved to travel with his wife, including trips to Europe, Hawaii, Florida and many US states.

John enjoyed living at Fox Run Senior Community, participating in multiple activities including the Pine Wood Derby, Veterans Club, playing Euchre and Rummikupp, and being a soundman and host for the Fox Run TV station.

To cherish his memory, he leaves four children: Kenneth (Kay Sisung) Naszradi, Brian (Anne) Naszradi, Keith (Kristen) Naszradi and Beth Naszradi (Byron) Best. He also leaves seven grandchildren: Karina Naszradi, Alexa Naszradi, Nicholas (Kristen) Naszradi, Katherine (John) Houston, Lashae (Tony) Sexton, Megan Best and Melanie Best and eight great grandchildren: Emma Naszradi, Ben Naszradi, Katie Naszradi, Alice Sexton, Bruce Sexton, Henry Houston, Rory Houston, and Maxwell Stone (Katrina Naszradi).
