John Norris Obituary
A graduate of St. Peter's University, John was a production assembler for Advantage Solutions.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Star of the Sea Council #371 and a past Grand Knight. He was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
He was a member of the Motorcycle Ministry and was an umpire for Bayonne Little League and Cal Ripken Baseball.
John is survived by his loving father, John Norris, Sr.; his loving sister, Kristina Norris, and her husband, Charlie O'Connor; his cherished nieces and nephews, Jayce Bello, Jayden Torello, Taylor Bello, Charley O'Connor, and Kayla O'Connor; his dear aunts and uncles, Kelly and Louis LaBruno, Dawn Guthrie and Thomas Solari, Nikki and Thomas Guthrie, Margaret and Larry Dinan, Joe Norris, Cheryl and Jay Silverstein, and Fran and Ronald Guthrie; and many loving cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving mother, Debra Guthrie Norris; and his beloved grandparents, George and Barbara Guthrie and Vivian and Eugene Norris.
A Memorial Gathering will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private cremation ceremony will be held on January 28, 2026, for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support the family with the unexpected funeral expenses in John's honor.

My condolences to the Norris Family ,John was a wonderful person and a very accomplished umpire and ballplayer he had an extensive knowledge of the game of baseball and the rules of the game, he was always giving back to the youth of Bayonne by working numerous games at Bayonne LL Pony and Babe Ruth ,the City of Bayonne will miss a unreplaceable citizen and umpire Rest In Peace John .Your friend and fellow umpire ,Coach Billy Ryan
