John Oliver

I worked in HR when John Oliver was the Director. He was a wonderful man. I remember an incident when several of the ladies (including myself) went to his office and asked if we could start wearing pant suits to work. He, of course, got a good laugh from that, but we were serious. He gave it some thought, and then said go for it!!! Within the week we started a new trend in DuPont, pants suits could be worn by women. He would stop by our offices at least once week to chat, which is pretty much not heard of anymore at DuPont. He was such a nice person. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your family.
