John C Pagano

John C. Pagano, age 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at The Bristol Assisted Living at Somerset in Somerset, New Jersey.
Born on August 27, 1934, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, John was the beloved son of the late Giuseppe and Josephine Pagano. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin Township, where he built a life rooted in family, community, and hard work.
John was employed for many years as a groundskeeper at Spooky Brook Golf Course, a role he took great pride in. He was also a longtime member of the Eagles Club in Franklin Township. In his free time, John enjoyed fishing and gardening, finding peace and satisfaction in the outdoors. He was affectionately known as the last of the Brookrats and the Pagano family.
John was preceded in death by his four brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane Pagano; his two loving sons, AJ Pagano and Christopher Pagano; his cherished granddaughters, Rachel and Gloria Joy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on February 21, 2026, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1640 Amwell Road, Somerset, NJ 08873.
A memorial gathering will follow and be held on February 21, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gleason Funeral Home, located at 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, New Jersey.
