It was an honor to know John. He was so fun and interesting and unapologetically himself. He really made people feel comfortable with opening up and being themselves around him. One of his many gifts/super powers.

I started at NEDO with John in 1991 and we were nearly the same age, so this loss hurts in more ways than one. Thanks Palmer for making work more interesting, tolerable.

Rest in peace, John. Had fun working with you at OEPA. We had some good meals and good laughs. Thanks for letting me do a an hour of disk jockeying on the El Gato Blanco show.

John and I were working in Canton, Ohio a long time ago. At lunchtime, John suggested we have Cantonese. Still makes me chuckle.

It broke my heart to read this. Especially because he lived close by and I didn´t know he was here. I would have loved to see him after so many years. I will never forget "the swamp" which was an epic gathering of highly creative souls who camped out in a particular corner of a hallway in Hawken School. I knew I was in the right place because of them! My heart goes out to his loved ones.

John was one of my closest friends in high school. We made movies and mischief together. I'm sure his spirit will hover in the "swamp" forever. IYKYK

John and I went to see The Church and had the chance to meet the band members. Here´s a picture of him with Ian Haug, who joined the band after Powderfinger broke up. It was a wonderful night. Our love of great music took us to the best shows. I always had so much fun whatever we were doing!

Here´s one of my favorite photos of John from 2014. It was taken at the end of a very long day/ night after a Waterloo Alley Cat benefit at our favorite haut, the Beachland Ballroom. He was always so supportive and loved the kitties as much as we did.
