He is survived by his siblings, Anna Wathen, Tom Patton (Darlene), Judy Patton, and Sheila Sparks; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friends, Keith Menzies (Donya) and family.
Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. A private burial will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the John Patton Memorial Fund, c/o Davis Funeral Home, 3009 Frederica Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
