John Peerman Obituary
PRINCETON, INDIANA
John Andrew Peerman, 87, of Princeton, Indiana, born July 24, 1936, to Joseph and Eliza (Kincheloe) Peerman in New Harmony, Indiana, passed away, Friday, June 14, 2024 at his residence in Princeton, Indiana.
He was a proud US Army Veteran serving from 1959 to 1961 and was a member of the American Legion Funkhouser Post 8 of Evansville, Indiana and the Princeton Conservation Club. In October of 2023, he traveled with Honor Flight 15 to Washington D.C. He enjoyed living at the lake, sitting in the sunroom and woodworking. He was an oil field worker/pumper, he worked 9 years at Whirlpool, 12 years for North American Green, and owned and operated John Peerman Building and Remodeling for 10 years.
Surviving are his friend/significant other: Theresa White; son: Donald Peerman (Melissa); daughter: Alicia DeLong; sisters: Naoma Lucille Allen and Irma Louise Underwood; 4 grandchildren: Cody Peerman (Bethany), Dylan Peerman, Nick DeLong (Katie) and Zack DeLong; 3 great grandchildren: Aurora Peerman, Raelyn & Magnolia DeLong; along with his faithful companion: Lucy.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers: Elbert "Pud", Gerald Gene and William "Bill" Peerman.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery near Wadesville, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the funeral home.
