John Perez, age 94 of Houston entered into eternal rest on January 30, 2022. He was born on March 10, 1927 to Emilio and Agnes Perez in Houston, TX.
John is preceded in death by Wife, Angelita (Angie) Perez, Mother, Agnes Perez, Father, Emilio Perez, Granddaughter, Angelic M. Perez, Sister, Maria Perez, Sister, Beatrice Nava, Brother-in-Law, Raymond Ramos, Brother-in-Law, Leonard Mosqueda, Brother-in-Law, Osvaldo Ramirez, Son-in-law, James McGhee, Brother-in-law, Benjamin Nava.
He is survived by Two Sons, John Anthony (Penny) Perez, Charles J. (Arlene) Perez; Daughter, Mary E. McGhee; Three Grandsons, Evan Perez, Ryan (Diana) Perez, Adam T. (Karissa) Perez; Granddaughter, Megan (Joe) Clephane; Brother, Frank Perez; Five Sisters, Dolores (Pete) Garcia, Mary Helen Mosqueda, Cecilia Ramos, Modesta (Charles) Cruz, Virginia Ramirez, and Numerous Great-Children.
John Perez was a beloved husband, father and brother. He was a member of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He retired from Maxwell House after over twenty-five years of employment. He love animals, and he had various dogs, cats,and kittens, over the years. At the time of his death, he had a bird that he loved very much. He enjoyed telling stories and jokes and laughing with his friends and family.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 12:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home.
The Committal Service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
