Sending condolences to John's family from my father, John (Jack) Taggart. He is suffering from dementia, therefore cannot send his personal condolences. My father greatly enjoyed his friendship with John which stretched back many decades. He spoke of John often and their many lunches and dinners out. I believe they enjoyed throwing a few back and regaling the good old days. John's friendship was very helpful to my father when he became a widow, and I believe they just lost touch in the last year as my father got sicker. Whenever I asked him about John, my dad would always say, "He's gone off to Germany, I will see him when he returns." We are sorry for your loss, and sorry that my father has lost a good friend.
