I did not know about johns passing, I cut his hair for many years. We had a very interesting relationship. He even purchased one of my cars . That a story I still tell to this day . The world gave heaven a great man . He was a great guy.

Grandpa its been weeks or months how ever u guys wanna call it. I miss u already i will always be ur princess and that will never change... I miss you so much i wish heaven had a phone so I can hear your voice one more time. You were my idol, my hero and still and will always be, we have so many happy and sad memories tell everyone i said hi up there and i miss them! tell sydney,princess, cuddles, rosie i miss them give them lots of treats, Its really hard without you here its different and quiter. Everyone misses you, writing this just makes me in tears(bawling my eyes). Its not the same without you here everyone misses you very very much, I wish there was more time with you. You dies at such a young age, and this should've never happened to you, but like everyone says everything happens for a reason. Aides and jake are growing bigger, Aiden just turned 1. I wish u could see me grow and graduate middle school this year but now you get to watch me grow from up above, its really hard without u here grandpa i miss u. i miss your smile ur laugh and the memories we kept ,making . I hope ur having fun in heaven, but i have so many questions for you like how is it , so many u would have to make me be quiet, i hope to see u soon. I was an office worker at Sea Land till 2000 and was fortunate to know Johnny Petito. He was such a great guy, loving warm smile and laugh.
He will always be a part of the wonderful memories i have working at port.

Sometimes words cannot describe when the love and warmth of someone touches your heart and that's what John did. He touched many hearts.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). This is one of the better-known and most-quoted passages of the apostle Paul.

John you fought the good fight and you finished the race, and now you are resting in glory. Your legacy will live on through your family and the many lives you have touched and enriched.

Johnny was my first Shop Steward and was like a father figure to all of the members of Local1. Even though he has been retired for a few years, we missed him everyday. Rest In Peace!
