John Allen Pippert was born on the family farm, where he lived his entire life, in Dysart, on June 24, 1951, the son of Walter and Cinderella (Sell) Pippert.
John married Donna Hutson on July 27, 1969, to which they had three children. Later, he married Tina Papadakes on June 24, 1999, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua; she preceded him in death on June 6, 2014.
John farmed his family farm, owned his own trucking company and was a Tama County Reserve Deputy. He enjoyed attending the races in Vinton and Amish auctions, he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and was very proud of them.
