Dr. Poole's son, Terrance is a good friend with my son, David Anderson Hooker; they graduated from Morehouse College together. Terrance was nominated by me and later served on the board of Summerbridge Cincinnati for many years. Terrance was our dentist while we lived in Cincinnati.
Dr. Poole was a revered community servant leader. He left a lasting legacy in Cincinnati.

Rest, well dear brother. You taught and showed us a life of sacrifice and serving others. Condolences, dear awesome family!

Ourthoughts and prayers are with you. May the bond and love that you shared bring comfort and peace in the days ahead.

So glad to have had Dr. Poole and Mrs. Poole in my life, and to have had the opportunity have known a lot of their Loving Family members quite well.... Dr. Poole always had this Amazing presents as the Leader, Mentor, and father figure that allowed him to always look out for other people.... In my almost 30 years I've had the pleasure of knowing his wonderful family. Family members that are trying to find a way to deal with this Heart Breaking lost: Karol Poole, Terrance Poole, Holly Poole, Bill Dean, Erica Pugh, Mrs. Poole's sister Janet and many of the Grand babies that I can't even count..... Stay Strong Family for Mrs. Poole..... Thank you all.... Muahhhhhhh!

Dear Mrs Poole and Family,
Marge and I were deeply sorrowful to learn of Dr. Poole's passing. We have been out town at the Cleveland Clinic and will miss the funeral. It is important for you to know how important our relationship was with both you and Dr. Poole. As we look back on our lives ,Dr. Poole was one of the most important person's God gave us..
Dr. Poole gave me a chance to stay active in nursing home administration and he helped Marge obtain her license. Dr.Poole helped me earn my PhD. at the Union Institute and University. It was Dr.Poole with Dr. Chuck Sells and Dr. John Henderson that helped me achieve one of life's goals. Dr. Poole was always available for advice and encouragement. For that I will always be grateful. We have kept Dr. Poole in our daily prayers of thanksgiving because he was such a blessing to know. We will truly miss him.

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Poole, Terrence, Carol, Holly, and family. John Poole was a wonderful, kind man as our next-door neighbor. He was a great help to my parents as they got older. We treasure our memories of the time we spent with him.

My deepest condolences on the loss of such an amazing man. Dr. Poole mentored many of us at different points in our lives, and his life and work will live on in the good work that we do because we were shaped by his influence.
