I´m going to try and copy this wonderful, heartfelt remembrance of Jack and share it with members of Saint Philip Neri Church which Jack often attended.
My husband Alex and I met Jack and Sandy at the Fitzwater Cafe with our mutual friend Joey from Bainbridge Street. Later we would see Jack at Mass where his singing was extraordinary. The congregation was amazed by his great voice and how it elevated the entire religious experience. We are all greatly saddened by his passing and will miss the gift of his voice and his enthusiasm for life which uplifted everyone who was lucky enough to know him.

Dear Alex and Christina I have no words for the lost of loosing your Dad and grandad, my deepest condoleance and thanks for sharing the obituary it shows and described the "dad" I know from your stories Alex. I wish you both and the family all the strength and love to process this loss. He will be missed big hug from Esther and her Family

I am so so sorry for the loss of both you and your Mom's 3rd Musketeer Christina. He sounds like a phenomenal guy. Words just do not suffice, except to say that hoping the memories will bring you peace, solace and a smile over time.

And going forward, may each of you experience joys as deep as the ocean and sorrows as light as the foam.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your father.

Over the many many years that Jack was my neighbor on 4th Street, he shared so many beautiful stories about your family. When I think of one memory that truly embodies your dad, it´s how deeply, passionately, and authentically he loved. The photo he kept of your mom was always a reminder of their beautiful love story.

There was always a warm hug from Jack, a kind word when the day felt heavy, and a sense of optimism that made everything feel a little brighter.

His impact on others was significant

I´m so sorry for your loss. I´m really going to miss Mr. Poulos´s animated story telling and beautiful opera singing. He was a wonderful influence on me always encouraging me to be happy and confident. His friendly nature was so nice to be around always laughing and joking. He was also an empathetic listener and had a strong sense of justice and would gladly stand up for the underdog if needed. He was such a kind and happy man and will really be missed.

I landscaped Jacks lawn in landsdowne and in Havertown I looked forward to it he always had a SMILE and a joke for me. Love and Regrets to his beautiful family. Love Art Camacho

What a beautiful tribute to your Father/ Grandfather! My heart bleeds for the two of you. You three really were the power of three.
