I had the honor to work with John while employed at the Western Auto HQ building. His stories about his life and experiences therein, will always have a special place in my heart. I learned a lot from him.

Enthusiastic, even impassioned about life, people and love is how you describe John. His actions, not meant to mentor, but to feel or be felt. May he sleep deeply and you continue to enjoy the memories while pursuing the highest of all.

"Uncle" John was a fixture in the 60's, 70's, and 80's for me as a child neighbor if his at Lake Tapawingo, MO. We even hit the racetrack at I-70 Speedway to catch the action. I can still hear his boisterous laugh. He was a good dad to his own, too. Smiles from below to you above, friend!

John was my mentor when I was in my twenties. He stretched my mind and helped me see the bigger picture. Later, he was Uncle John to my children. I honor his happiness in meeting Mary and the beauty of their life together. John was a fine human being.
