He and his wife Sarah were part of the Marriage Encounter community for over 40 years.
Faith and family were the cornerstones of John's life. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army and remained active in the Veteran's Administration.
John had a wide array of interests and passions-he was an enthusiastic entrepreneur, he loved trains, traveling, and was an avid fan of both baseball and golf. He played on local softball teams well into his 80's and he and his wife Sarah enjoyed square dancing together.

John and his wife Saly were long time friends of my parents. John was my Dads boss at Bell Telephone. I remember John very fondly as a very outgoing and welcoming person. My parents had lots of trips and fun times with the Raynor´s. John I´m sure has left a legend. My prayers for Saly, John´s children and grandchildren and of course the rest of the family.
