John was born on March 14, 1937 and passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. John was a resident of Danby, Vermont at the time of his passing. He graduated from Earlham College with a degree in agricultural economics. He is survived by his wife Marion. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday Aug. 8 with a reception to follow in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Burleigh Drive Ithaca. Calling hours begin at 10 a.m. Bangs Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of John to the SPCA of Tompkins County 1640 Hanshaw Road Ithaca NY 14850.
