John Rarick Obituary

John P. Rarick passed away Dec. 28, 2022. He was born July 18, 1939, in Iowa City, to Allen A. Rarick and Ruth E. Rarick. John graduated from Tiffin High School in 1957 and farmed in Johnson County since he was 16. He married Theola K. Colony on Sept. 12, 1964. John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Theola; son, Clint P. Rarick (Rosemarie); daughter, Kathryn K. Dorsey; her two children, Johnâ€™s grandchildren, Dean P. Dorsey and Theola J. Dorsey; and by his brother, Robert A. Rarick (Joyce). Memorial services are pending at this time through Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. Bob & Joyce. So sorry to hear of Jack's death. I remember lots of cattle showings not only in Johnson Co. But Angus field days and many fairs. State Fair particularly. We always enjoyed basketball. We Rohret girls and the Rarrick boys. I remember people thinking we were all the same family because the last names were so close. I since sincere condolences to all the family from all the Rohret girls
