John L. Reed

Worked with John for several years before transferring to District 07. He was a great mentor.

Please accept my sincere sympathy. My Dad Tom Montgomery rode with Mr Reed as an Illinois State Police rookie many years ago.Keeping all who knew and loved Mr Reed in my prayers.

I too, am very sorry to learn of M/Sgt Reed's passing. As an inspiring young Trooper, I had the good fortune of working under John. He was a strong, fair and very supportive leader. He will be missed, My condolences to the family.
