I worked with John for several years on the GETS (Government Emergency Telecommunications Service) and WPS (Wireless Priority Service) programs. He was not only an excellent Program Manager for the Government in terms of both meeting the mission and staying on top of the challenges. He was also a leader who knew how to engage and motivate his team while also bringing a sense of value and camaraderie that made every day a good day at work. However, I must say, what I most fondly remember were the times we could just kickback and enjoy exploring our knowledge and views on whatever was the topic of the day. He seemed well informed and rationally opiniated on just about everything. I am very proud to have worked with him and enjoyed his friendship.

I am truly saddened to see this. John was a special person that I'm proud to have worked under on the GETS program. His kind spirit and wit added to his dedication to supporting our nation's emergency responders was always there. You are missed.
