Happy Fathers Day Dad!! Today will be very difficult for me. It always will be. I made a big mistake recently. I'm so sorry I let you down. I hurt everyone in my life. Especially Mom. But, this too shall pass. I wish you were here to help me through this problem I created. I think of and miss you everyday!! I guess I will for the rest of my life. I cry often still. Then again, only real men cry. You will always be in my mind and in my heart. You were the best!! Oh how I miss so much!! Love You Dad, your loving son Johnny

John was a wonderful man. He was very witty, and had a great laugh. I am so glad that his son and I drove cross country to spend a month with the family ❤. I'll never forget working out in the yard with him. There was great sadness at his passing and it's been 1year today and our hearts are still broken and we mourn his passing still and will always. My heart and love go out to his wife Margaret, his daughter Cathy, and his son John whom I love very much. John had so many friends and I know he is greatly missed by them. Love Caryn Clendening this is what I wrote.

One year ago today a hole was created in my heart. This hole has grown much bigger. Time does not heal. Everything I see and touch reminds me of you. I am surrounded by so many memories. And this is a beautiful thing. I miss and think of you all the time. I ALWAYS WILL. I had a dream. You gave me the biggest smile ever. I hope this means you are proud of me. I HAVE and ALWAYS WILL LOVE YOU DAD. Your loving son, Johnny.

One of the most wonderful people that graced this area. A special man...great fisherman...great mailman...He lit up a room and you helped walking along his side Peg .I'll miss all the moments.

Peggy, Kathy and John , I am so sorry for your loss. You have all been neighbors to my in Laws for 51+ years and I feel I have known you for all that time. I know years ago when Wayne was thinking of scuba diving John helped him a lot. John also helped my Father in Law Bill and Mother In Law Florence when they needed some help. For that I am grateful. May he forever rest in Peace and swim freely in the heavens.
