I was a pharmaceutical salesperson in 2007. The first time I stepped into Dr Riesch's office, I saw many fishing pictures on the wall of his family. On that day we formed a friendship about family and about fishing. He told me that he had not done it before, but that he is extending an invite to me and my kids to visit his pond to swim and to fish. My kids and I have had many many memories at this pond, learning to swim, learning to fish. I always had 100% respect for the man and I will never forget his kindness. RIP Dr Riesch

Dr. Reisch sewed me up.. treated my illnesses, mended my broken bones like one other could when I was a youngster
Caught a few well deserved scoldings too.

Dr. Riesch was my Dr. for nearly 25 years. Outside of Our Lord I would not trust my life to anyone but him. He found a way always to take care of me immediately even without an appointment. He wasn't about the money. I could call him at his breakfast table. He would meet me at the office even when it was closed New Years Eve.
I love you Dr. Riesch. Thank you. The Lord be with you.

Dr.Riesch treated me after I broke my back in a sky diving accident in December, 1968. I was up and walking two weeks after I was admitted to the hospital. He was a great doctor with very good bedside manner. I last spoke to him in October to ask for his advice on my 97 yr. old Mother and he asked me to call him the next time I came back to Milwaukee. Sorry I missed him. Jerry Mohr, San Diego, CA

Dr. Riesch was my hero. He saved me many years ago when I was 19. I had complications from a ruptured appendix and could have died but due to his dedication and determination, he cured me with an innovative treatment approach.
More recently when my son was a medical student, he was privileged to be mentored by Dr. Riesch during his surgical rotation. My son mentioned my case to Dr. Riesch and amazingly he remembered me and recalled details of my case after 40 years.
Thank you Dr. Riesch. You will be missed by many grateful patients and their families.

So sorry for your family's loss, which is also a great loss to the community. I first met John in 1990 when I started work as a physician at Community Memorial Hospital. I looked up to him and respected everything he did for the medical community. They don't make them like him anymore!

Gilly and I were saddened to hear of Doc's passing. From treating Gilly when he first started teaching in Menomonee Falls to treating our sons, Nic and Keith. Many memories of him walking the sidelines of the Falls Football games every Friday night. A legacy that will truly be missed. Our hearts are with you at this very difficult time.

My deepest sympathies to your family on the passing of your dad. I had the pleasure of working with him at Medical Associates as a medicette. I was only 16 when I started there, but learned a lot from your dad that I still remember as a nurse today. He truly gave so much to his "other family," his patients. May God bless your family during this difficult time.
