We are very sorry to hear of the passing of coach Risley. Prayers and condolences to his family.

If you grew up playing sports in Willimantic, Coach Riz was someone once you met you never forgot. His intense and constant barking was out of love and a desire to instill hard work and discipline into your life.
On a personal note, "Hey! It's chicken a go-go!"

John was my brother-in-law, friend, and part-time father for my children. He raised a wonderful family. His big heart let us all feel welcome. I will miss him very much.

Coach Risley, was not only a great coach but also a great inspiration. He made everyone he worked with a little tougher and more prepared to handle life!
