John Henry Rivers

I went to school with John Henry. He was always a spitfire with a ready smile. After I move back to Oroville, I spoke with him a few times. He will definitely be missed. RIP, John.

I met John as a student when we were both attending Chico State in the early 60's. I enjoyed my friendship with him, and he was an amazing leader. I remember John being an All-American Boxer and was an excellent athlete. Our paths haven't crossed in recent years, but I continued to follow his illustrious career. My heartfelt sympathy is with John's family, and I know he will be missed by countless people whose lives he touched!

Dr Rivers will be greatly missed.My condolences to his family and friends. We have been friends since 1955. Rest in Peace my friend. Thank you for your service- military & community.
