Thomas Edward Dickerson

Thomas Edward Dickerson, 70, of Augusta, peacefully passed away on July 15, 2023 surrounded by loved ones, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Thomas was born on March 8, 1953 to LeRoy and Leone Dickerson in the city of Eau Claire. After Thomas graduated from Eau Claire Regis in 1971, he pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at UW Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin. After graduation, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer at First Wisconsin Bank, Mayo Clinic and retired from Fall Creek School District as a custodian.
He was married to Cheryl Schlumpf for 23 years and had 2 children; Daniel and Vanessa. He later married Sue McIntosh in 2000. Thomas was passionate about fixing up his 1928 Chevy Coupe and loved what he could accomplish on fixing anything himself. He also enjoyed fishing at his family cabin in Lake Holcombe and spending time in the woods hunting with family and friends. In the summer he looked forward to going to many car shows and traveling with his soulmate Sue.
He is survived by wife; Sue Dickerson, children; Daniel Dickerson (Char) and Vanessa Strosahl ( Jon), stepsons; Jim ( Jessica) and Joe (Tonya) grandchildren; Morgan and Branden Dickerson, Preston and Lydia Strosahl and many extended family members.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents; LeRoy and Leone Dickerson.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday July 21st at Smith Funeral Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery after the luncheon.
