John L. Roederer, 93, of Taylorsville, passed away March 19, 2024. He was a Korean War Army veteran, a retiree of Ford Motor Company, a farmer, and he raised Irish Setters.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette; and his siblings, Raymond Roederer, Bobby Roederer, Susie Horn, Mary Hazelwood, and Joseph Roederer. He is survived by his nephews, Keith Carter(Susan), Dennis Roederer(Carol), Tommy Horn, and Scott Alexander; nieces, Mary Lou Horn, Natalie Rodriguez, and Wende Skillman; great-nieces and great-nephews, Chelsie Skillman, Gabriella Skillman, Alex Carter, Christina Roney(Daniel), Grace Alexander, Tatia Alexander, and Philip Alexander; his great-great nieces and nephews; and family friends, Shane and LeAnn Carrier and their daughter, Brooke.
Funeral service will be 2pm Monday, April 1, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to Hosparus.
