I was sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Great memories of driving around Belize with Donna in the jeep. Safe travels to the other side.

I staffed Jack Rogers when he was The Greater Chamber's Water Committee Chairman. It was a busy time. We were trying to work out groundwater rights which pitted rural vs urban interests in the Edwards Aquifer. We were all scratching our heads wondering what the Legislature was going to do with us. One day Jack says "well I can call somebody I know in House. He might be helpful." Expecting to be given the name of a backbencher, Jack names the chairman of the Texas House Water Committee! We got our point to the chair in short order. That was Jack Rogers I soon learned. So unassuming, willing to do what he could without any expectation of his ability to influence - in a significant way - public policy that would have a lasting effect on San Antonio's economy and quality of life.

My condolences on your loss.

Dear Jack,
Thank you for giving me the most wonderful son that I could have ever hoped for. The bond that we have always shared is the mutual and unconditional love that we have for our beautiful son, John, Jr.
Rest in peace.

Dear John (now known as JP!) and Donna and family. I was sorry to read of Jack's passing but wonderful to read the colorful stories. My memories are always of your Christmas tradition of bringing dried corn around to feed the reindeers on Christmas Eve. Peter and Paul always eagerly awaited your arrival each holiday and we still talk about it every Christmas! May God bless you as you celebrate a life well lived.

My condolences to the family. I met Jack in the late 70's thru the title business. In the early 90"s I got involved with the Valero AlamoBowl, thanks to Jack. He was an enthusiastic supporter of business and SA and a great friend. RIP, Jack.

I had the pleasure of being associated with Jack through Frost Bank at the Liberty branch on Blanco Rd.
He became both a professional and personal friend that I remember always going beyond what was expected.
His contagious smile lighted up whatever group he participated. Phil Norman

I grew up going to Jack Rogers ranch with my dad every year. It was the only ranch we went to and I have many fond memories there. Hunting, horseshoes, food and lots of laughter! At night I remember the snoring bear noises coming from Mr Rogers bunk! He was a great friend to my Dad and became a friend to me. Thanks for making so many of my best memories Jack, you will be missed, LD

RIP, amigo. You are in our thoughts. I'm laughing through the tears about our 56 years of share (mis)adventures. I think my investment in your title company was the only time I have ever actually made money helping out a friend. Hasta la proxima.

Jack was a friend in High School in Texarkana and at UT in Austin. Over the years we occasionally drifted apart but we always renewed the friendship. I don't think I ever saw him angry nor ever speak ill of anyone. He will be and in fact is already missed by his many friends not only in Texas but as far away as Australia.

Jack was an amazing man and someone who I immediately looked to for advice when I joined the Valero Alamobowl board. He always had a big smile on his face and told the best stories of his time on the board. He was a man who inspired me to enjoy every minute of life and I will miss him very much.

I am not sure there would be an Alliant National Title Insurance Co. without Jack's "all in" encouragement and willingness to invest in a start-up operation. He was a great partner, friend and Agent. Jack's experience was so important to us as we started the business. He was such a genuine, insightful and hilarious person to seek advice from or hang out with. Dinner never really sat too well when dining with Jack - we were laughing too hard to digest! We will miss you Jack!
