Was very saddened to hear of a real great friend passing. Many times we don't understand why. But the good Lord has the answer. John truly was a great friend, and my heart goes out to you Mary and family. My prayers are with you all.

John was a great person. We taught skiing together for many years. He was a kind patient person. I was thrilled when found out he would be teaching my grandson in brigade.

We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. I am fondly remembering with a smile, all the times John went to Steamboat Springs, skiing with my family. Two of my kids, Joey and Lucy, were always trying to outdo each other - and John - the bachelor - watched them in amusement and just laughed - that easy-going laugh. We had such a good time skiing with John. I am not surprised he was such an amazing ski instructor. We will always love him and miss him. Prayers for strength for the Rosettie family, Love, Joe and Linda Anastasi and family.

Words can never express the feelings one has in the passing of someone special. I didn't see John often, but on every occasion he had that patented smile. Always smiling with only kind words to say about you or a family member. A caring soul, an Angel the Lord called home. Always to be remembered

Gracie, Jim, Irene and Anne, I don't know what to say, I'm shocked and saddened by this. Every time I saw him, he would give me a big kiss and hug and I would tell him who would think he would have turned into an old married man with kids and he would laugh. My heart is so sore at hearing this. I've let Art and Sal know. Gracie, I am so sorry. Love , Maryann Tombasco

I am shocked and saddened by the passing of a long time friend. I have fond memories of John as we grew up on the Northside of Corning. We lived in what had to be the perfect neighborhood. Between John and the rest of the guys we had the best times. Kids today have no idea what it was like to make your own fun. To Grace, Mary, Irene, Jim and the rest of the family, I am so sorry for you loss.
