John was a very great man always with a good hart and a very good servant my fiance Christine O'Neill and I had the pleasure on being friends with a very good man that even put so much into everything he did. He will be missed.

John and I sat by each other, in church, for many years. He excitedly told me one day that he had retired from the Properties Committee. When I told John that they were lucky to have him all those years he said, "No, I was lucky to have them."

John was a true servant and follower of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I had the pleasure of joining him in many Bible classes at Trinity over the past 45 years, and saw him live out his faith in his life as he tirelessly helped his neighbors, friends, and church by building or fixing anything that needed his skills. I look forward to joining him in heaven.
