John Rutherford Obituary
John Rutherford Sr. loved the simple things in life. He enjoyed driving his golf cart around. He was a big Michigan State fan and rarely missed cheering them on. While in Florida, he liked playing shuffleboard and soaking up the sunshine. He read his Bible every day and started every morning the same way, a bowl of Cheerios, a banana and a cup of coffee. Most of all, he loved his family and the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his children, Jill Davis, Jane Zimmerman, and Jeffrey Rutherford and wife Angela; grandchildren, Jasmine, Pablo, Rikki, Samantha, Dakoda, and Bradyn; 1 great grandchild; siblings, Paul Rutherford, Mary Brown, Jim Rutherford, Naomi Criswell, Thomas Rutherford, and Ruth Nauman; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his children, Joni Lyne Rutherford, and John Rutherford Jr.; wife Linda Karsten-Rutherford; and parents, Harvey and Zelpha Rutherford.
