I never knew John Ryff. However, he apparently knew my grandfather at Stanford in the late 1950's and 1960's, and wrote to my mom, Marian Tracy, in September 2018. At the time, he was one of the few people left who had known my grandfather. She died on December 1, and I found the printed e-mail again today. I thought I would check to see if I could find Mr. Ryff.
