John Sacramone Obituary
John T. Sacramone, 94, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, with his loving family by his side. John will be remembered for his love of family and generosity, as well as his love of the outdoors, building, sports, gardening, and cooking for family and friends. John was a proud Navy veteran. John was the beloved son of the late Mario and Frances Sacramone. Husband to the late Frances Maisano Sacramone. Father to Marcie Whetzel, Janine and Tina Sacramone. Grandfather to John (Jenna) Whetzel and Sergio Sacramone-DeLeon. Great-grandfather to John Whetzel, Jr. Brother to Tom Sacramone and the late Ann, Frank, and Mario Sacramone. He was a cherished uncle and friend.
Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT 06457, on Monday, November 10th, at 1:00 pm to attend a graveside service with full United States Military Honors.
