JOHN SCANLON Obituary

SCANLON, John J. Of Woburn, died peacefully, July 27, at the age of 94. Beloved son of the late Martin F. and Delia (Whelan) Scanlon. Dear brother of the late Loy Carroll and Ellen Scanlon. Loving uncle of Mary Jane Doherty (Don) of Hingham and Falmouth and Ann Carroll of Arlington. Also survived by three grandnieces, Kerri (William) Neelon, Kaitlyn (Alex) Berrick, and Meghan (Conor) Duffey; as well as his great-grandnephew, Will. A Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 4, in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, WOBURN. Burial is Private. Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours from 9 – 10 a.m., prior to the service.
