John W. Schreck, age 87, Baptized unto the Hope of Christ's Resurrection, Thursday, February 15, 2024. John was born in
St. Louis, Missouri to Theobald and Virginia Schreck. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joseph Schreck.
John is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Antoinette J. Schreck (nee Misuraca); his sons Steve (Christina) Schreck, David (Linda) Schreck, Terry Schreck and Richard (Paula) Schreck; his grandchildren Michael (Rachel) Thompson, Samantha Schreck, Adrianna (Bradley) Rozanski, Jessica Schreck, Mattison Schreck, Maximilian Schreck, Mia Schreck, Gianna Schreck, Amy Schreck, Cordelia Schreck, Vincent Schreck, Samantha Graham, Jillian Schreck; great-grandchildren Parker, Everett and Adelaine; his siblings Shirley (Robert) Puzey, James (the late Beulah) Schreck, Shaaron (Jerome) Gajdosik and Sally (Robert) Sanders: as well as his sister-in-law Sandy Schreck.
John served his country for over 20 years in the United States Air National Guard. He loved to tinker and build things. He loved camping and going to deer camp with the boys. John was an electrician that helped everyone with anything that needed "fixin". John was also active in his Church community. Above all else he loved time with his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Hutchens Mortuary, Florissant. Funeral Mass at 10:30am on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Sacred Heart Church, Florissant. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
