John Paul "Jack" Schuehler, Jr., of Glen Burnie, MD., and formerly of Spotsylvania, VA., passed away on Thursday November 6, 2025 at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was 93 years old.
Jack was born in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1958 he married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Palen. Jack was a veteran of the US Navy, where he achieved the rank of CPO. He worked at Westinghouse as a machinist and glassblower and retired after 40 years.
Jack was an avid hunter and an excellent marksman. He was proud to have made the President's 100 in the '50's, and taught Hunters Safety for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, tending to their large vegetable garden, playing the harmonica, and a rare single malt scotch.
Jack is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia Ann Schuehler (nee Palen); his daughters Debra Lynn Baker/Ron Savage, and Carla Jean Chester/ William; and five grandchildren: Dustin R. Baker/Amy, Adam J. Baker/Helen, John P. Chester, Sarah E. Baker-Cornett/ Cody, and William C. Chester. Jack also had 6 great grandchildren: Gabriel, Jace, Gideon, Juliette, Ryker and Cooper; and a niece, Helen Chapman of KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John "Paul" Schuehler, Sr., and his mother Helen Schuehler (nee Mills) of Linthicum, MD; his sisters Claire Flowers of KY and Nancy Bickel of Glen Burnie, MD.
