I still remember how to make an outline, thanks to his teaching. He was one teacher who made a huge difference! He taught us skills we kept using throughout our education and beyond. He was one of the exceptional ones, and the many young minds he taught will hold his memory forever.

I was very saddened to learn of Mr. Scully's passing. I have fond memories of him from Henry James (circa 1974). Those memo pads are still referred to as Scully pads in our house. I have a memories of him singing Brush Up Your Shakespeare, and if my memory serves me correctly, also performing in The Most Happy Fella in Simsbury. With sincere condolences, Kathy Haynes

I as truly saddened to learn of Mr Scullys passing. I came to know him as a customer at Dollar Tree in Westfield. I alway enjoyed talking when he came to shop. He will be missed. Deepest sympathy to the family of such a lovely man

Barb & Family, I've been thinking of you this week as you celebrate the life of your precious father. I credited him for my organization many many times over my career. I was so glad to reconnect with him after all those years. My Dad (92 and one of his old golfing buddies) and I send our love and will never forget him.

Jack is with his beloved "Alice", maybe entertaining her on the piano. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family.

So very sorry to hear of John's passing. He lead a long and productive life and now will be reunited with his lovely Agnes.
John was my special older cousin. I loved to watch and listen to his piano playing.
John's Mom Anne and my Mom Jewel were sisters.
With our thoughts and prayers to the family.

Just last month when my 88yo Dad was challenged by complicated daily medical needs, I offered him a pocket-sized top spiral note pad -- indelibly know to all as the \"Scully Pad.\" No surprise, instant, error free, comprehensive organization followed -- and a sense of confidence during an otherwise unsettling time. My Dad immediately recognized and honored the \"Scully Pad\" with appreciative enthusiasm as would any student ever passing through the halls of Henry James. Mr. Scully, you will forever live in so many multigenerational hearts and minds. Thank you!

"Mr Scully" was a one of a kind teacher! As a member of the class of 1974, many of us remember him coming to our Reunions. He also taught all of us life long skills in staying organized that I taught my own children through the years. It is nice to know he had a long and happy life and that the family will take comfort in the wonderful memories...
