John Sebok Obituary
John Mayes Sebok, born on June 12, 1963, in Freeport, New York, passed away on June 24, 2025, leaving behind a legacy marked by kindness, caring, and an unwavering love for his family. He dedicated his life to a fulfilling career in customer service, where his approachable demeanor and genuine concern for others made a lasting impact on both colleagues and clients alike.
John is survived by his loving wife, Carol Sebok (Nee: Bornstein), his children Daniel Sebok and Jennifer Sebok, his brothers Bill (Cathy) Sebok, and Bob (The Late Dawn) Sebok. John is predeceased by his parents, Louis Sebok and Dorothy Sebok, and his sister Jane Sebok. Each family member and friend was touched by John’s gentle spirit and generous heart.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY, 11729. This will be followed by a prayer service starting at 10:30 AM and concluding at 11:00 AM at the same location.
John Mayes Sebok will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his compassionate nature and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and the community he served.
