Mr. John T. Sendra

John T. Sendra, age 73, of Frankfort, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Beloved father of Pamela (Richard) Gorczynski, Kristin Zavala, John Sendra, and Michael Sendra; cherished grandfather of Brian (Fiancé Felicia), Rich, Amanda (Fiancé John), Nicholas (Fiancé Ashley), Matthew, and Isis and great-grandfather of Elijah, Ronin, and John; dear brother of Lawrence Sendra. He was preceded in death by his parents John E. and Lorraine nee Bosiacki, grand-daughter Julie, and aunt Regina Holomy. John was a member of the Tinley Park BNI Association and member of the Associated Business Network (ABN). He was past president of Bedford Park Clearing Industrial Association and President of the Southwest Business Exchange of Tinley Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 16th, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Funeral service, Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. John Cemetery, Mokena, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
