John Thomas Sessoms

John was born on February 12, 1925 and passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016. John was a resident of Elm City, North Carolina at the time of his passing. He served his country with honor and pride; he was a Bronze Star recipient for World War II and an active member with the VFW in Elm City. He was married to Olive. His funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday July 5 2016 at Westview Baptist Church 3408 Sunset Avenue Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:45 â 1:45 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery Nashville. The Rev. Bill Coffey and Rev. Moody Roberts will officiate. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the Westview Baptist Church 3408 Sunset Avenue Rocky Mount 278904.
