Dr. John W. Sharp

John W Sharp, age 94, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Dr. Sharp was born in Pleasant Plain, Ohio, the son of the late Harold and Alta Sharp. Dr. Sharp was a WW II veteran and a 70 year Mason. Survivors include his wife Kathryn W. Sharp of Pawleys Island; two sons: Bradley W. Sharp and his wife Olga of Xenia, Ohio; Jeffrey H. Sharp and his wife Sue of Hamilton, Ohio; two daughters: Judith A. Sharp of Cincinnati, Ohio; Karen Sharp Drake and her husband David of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister: Donna Amstutz of Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Kelly, Mike, Kevin, Julia, Sarah, Lee, and Gehrig; two great grandchildren: Lauren and Justin. Dr Sharp was preceded in death by two brothers; Daryl and Tug. He was a Professor Emeritus from The Ohio State University. His hobbies included oil painting, fishing, and golf. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
